Alhumdulillah, so much to write about. We now have 16 shaver hens, two roosters, three new lambs, and as of Sunday a kid (baby goat) alhumdulillah. The youngest lamb and the kid were both born in Ramadan.

Registration forms are now being accepted for the annual Muslim Girls' Youth Camp, which will be held in January 2011, at the Brookfield Scout Camp in Wainuiomata, just out of Wellington. Cut off date for handing in of registration forms is the end of November 2010.

Each day we try to simplify our lives to some degree more and more, this is not easy, but insha' Allah this is part of our goal. We want to give our children some time to appreciate the blessings Allah has put in nature and the more simple way of life. We didn't want the Mattel, the Lady Googa, the hip hop, the Gucci, the poochi etc. to take hold of our children.
