At present there is very little knowledge or understanding in Hong Kong of the often dire situation of our brothers and sisters in our Muslim countries or a significant awareness of the Deen. Currently, only schools from the west seem to apply to these contests and therefore are the only ones to gain benefit for their students.

AUCKLAND:  Women’s Empowerment Foundation (WEF) is a non-profitable organization that supports victim women and children from different ethnic communities within the Auckland region. Recently WEF is being supported by Auckland City Council to provide free learner license training classes for immigrant and refugee women. 

An Auckland man has put most of his savings into producing a free guide to help Muslim Kiwis adjust to life in New Zealand.  Naveed Ahmed’s Kiwi Muslim Directory is into its second edition, but he now fears it will be the last.
